PdOC Leckhampton dinner on Evolution and Change

PdOC is delighted to invite you to a follow up event to the Crossing the Barriers Interdisciplinary Lecture by Prof Chris Howe this term, on the theme of 'Evolution and Change'.

This event will take place on Tuesday, the 15 November and it will include a formal dinner at Leckhampton, Corpus Christi College, followed by two talks from Cambridge postdocs on the theme of 'Evolution and Change'.

Dinner will be served at 7pm, and the postdoc talks will follow from 8.30-9.30pm. The College Bar will be open after 9.30pm.

Speakers:

Emil Evenhuis, Department of Geography - “Evolution and change in Economic Geography and Economics”

Kiyoko Gotanda, Department of Zoology - “The influence of humans on Darwin’s finches”

Cost:

Tickets cost £10 per person, and include a 2 course meal. Wine and other drinks are available to buy before dinner from the College Bar (open from 6.30pm).

Menu:

Main course: Chicken Ballantine with smoked bacon and mushroom sauce
or
Stuffed Aubergine with Moroccan rice and crème fraiche (vegetarian option)

Dessert: Lemon Posset with Clementine syrup and shortbread
