Postdocs of Cambridge Society

 

Do you enjoy teaching? Do you consider teaching experience being important for you career progression? Would you like to be involved in teaching process in Cambridge University? This workshop will provide you an overview of teaching opportunities for postdocs in Cambridge. First, Dr. Rob Wallach will give an introduction into teaching system in Cambridge University, the place of colleges and departments in it, and a range of teaching roles in the University. Then, postdocs, who are involved in teaching, will share their experience in how they found their teaching position and what challenges they faced.

This is event is for Cambridge postdocs only.

Pizza and drinks (alcoholic and non) will be provided. You do not need to pay in advance, simply bring £1 to the session. Participants will be emailed further details nearer the time.
