Postdocs of Cambridge Society

 

What is the University Superannuation Scheme (USS)? What happens with the money you and the university pay in every month? How will your pension be calculated when you retire? What are your pension options if you want to leave academia? Or if you want to leave the United Kingdom?

These and many more questions will be answered at this after work event with special guest Sue Curryer, the head of the Pensions Office at the University of Cambridge.

This is event is for Cambridge postdocs only and the information given will relate to the USS pension scheme.

Pizza and drinks (alcoholic and non) will be provided. You do not need to pay in advance, simply bring £1 to the session. Participants will be emailed further details nearer the time.
