Postdocs of Cambridge Society

Join us on 8th November for a trip to the historic and vibrant city of Norwich - capital city of East Anglia, home of Alan Partridge and Delia Smith! We shall be taking the 10:12 train to Norwich (£16.90 off-peak return), with a gentle walking tour (tour cost will be up to £10 per person depending on the number of signups, payable on the day) exploring the sights of interest including the Cathedral Close, Great Hospital, medieval quayside and City Hall led by Dr Nick Groves.

Train tickets can be bought in advance or on the day, but please note Saturday morning ticket queues at Cambridge station can be very long.

The tour will last about 2 hours, after which people are free to spend the afternoon exploring the city's eateries, eclectic visitor attractions and quirky range of independent shops. Norwich has TWO cathedrals, an enormous castle — and, get this... a MUSTARD MUSEUM!!
