Cambridge Octoberfest 2016

This weekend it's the CAMRA Cambridge & District 10th Cambridge Octoberfest -- a rather smaller and more British spin on the Bavarian classic. The object is simple: to enjoy a wide selection of real ale and food, inside the University Social Club on Mill Lane.

Admission should be free for most postdocs -- it's free for USC members, which includes University scholars and employees, College staff, students, alumni, CamCard holders, and retired staff. It's also free for CAMRA and CURAS members. Failing all that, it costs £3.

The festival runs on Friday evening and all day on Saturday; the PdOC party will be there from 4pm on Saturday, until closing.
