PdOC are pleased to invite Cambridge postdocs, and their guests, to the annual PdOC Christmas dinner.  This year we will be dining at Selwyn College on Monday 14 December. Come along to meet postdocs from a wide range of academic disciplines.

Guests are invited to arrive from 6.45pm onwards, when there will be a drinks reception in the New SCR. Dinner will be served in the Hall at 7.30pm.  Tickets cost £41 per person to include a welcome drink, 3 course meal with wine, or £37 with no alcoholic drinks provided (non-alcoholic pre-dinner drinks will be available). 

The dress code for the evening is smart dress, which means a jacket and
tie for the gentlemen and equivalent for the ladies. College gowns are
not required.

Cost:

Tickets cost £41 for a welcome drink and a three course meal with drinks during the meal. For those not wishing to drink alcohol the cost will be £37.  Registration and payment must be made before 9am Wednesday 2nd December.  We can offer a small deduction in price if you are NOT planning to drink alcohol at the dinner.  Please indicate in the registration form if you require an alcohol free ticket.

* Old Style Mustard and Goose Terrine with Apricot Pickle and Malted Wheat Toasts OR
* Local Smoked Salmon Served with Potato and Horseradish Salad OR
* Vegetarian starter (prebooked): Velvet Chestnut Veloute with White Port

*Pork and Chestnut Wellington with Roast Potatoes and Seasonal Root Vegetables OR
*Roast Norfolk Turkey with Sage and Onion Stuffing, Chipolata Sausage Wrapped in Bacon and Served with Cranberry Sauce and Roast Gravy OR
*Vegetarian main course (prebooked): Goats Cheese, Spinach and Cranberry Parcel with Roast Potatoes and Seasonal Root Vegetables

Tickets cost £41 (drinkers) or £37 (non-drinkers) for the Selwyn College Christmas Dinner.  To book your place please register and pay for your tickets by 9am Wednesday 2nd December completing the following 2 steps.  We expect that this event will be sold out so please complete your payment immediately after registration.:

If you are bringing a guest please complete a separate registration form for each guest before making your payment.

▪    STEP 2: Make your payment using the 'Shopping Cart' button at the bottom

Note that your ticket/s will NOT be reserved until your payment has been completed.

Once you have submitted a separate registration form for each of the attendees you are paying for:

▪    Insert the name and surname of the people you are paying for (including your own) in the space below. This will allow us to match the payment with the registered names.

▪    Proceed to the shopping cart where you can adjust the number of tickets you are purchasing as necessary.

▪    You can then pay online using a PayPal account or directly using a credit/debit card.

You will receive an electronic receipt  for your payment by email from PayPal.
