Postdocs of Cambridge Society

Snowdon is the most climbed mountain in the British Isles, the peak is the highest in England and Wales and the summit offers the furthest views of Britain. The dates of the trip are leaving after work on Friday 22nd August 2014 and returning on (Bank Holiday) Monday 25th August 2014. Our accommodation will be a newly refurbished youth hostel at the foot of Snowdon, YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass. The cost of the youth hostel is £77 per person, which includes three nights bed and breakfast. The cost of transport (by car or minibus, approximately £20 per person), lunches and dinners will be extra.

Orienteering will be led by Jean-François Mercure, an experienced hiker. You will need to bring (worn in) hiking boots, a rucksack, a waterproof jacket, waterproof trousers, clothes, a hat, gloves, a water bottle, a towel, toiletries and cash.

Please register using at http://goo.gl/oKWB2Q. After registration we will email you to confirm your place with details of how to pay (payment of £77 will be required before 23rd June). If you require any further information, please contact Martin Sewell <martin@martinsewell.com>.
