On Thursday 26th July, PdOC will be hosting a space lecture and panel discussion at Churchill College.


The lecture features a series of short talks from space experts on theoretical astrophysics, observational astronomy, space policy, space law and the UK space heritage.

Talks:
Farzana Meru: Star & planet formation (the birth)
Ghina Halabi: star evolution (the life)
Anjali Piette: Exoplanets (the family)
Avishai Gilkis: Supernovae (the death)
Giorgia Busso: Observational astronomy and the UK Space Heritage (the family album)
Sara Langston: Space law and ethics (the broader picture, and overarching challenges of space exploration)
After the talks we will have a 15 minute panel discussion with Q&A.
