Have you ever wanted to know the basic steps of Salsa? Have you always wanted to attend a salsa class or to pick up from when you once started?
This event is for you!
We are organising with the CU Cuban Salsa Society (https://www.instagram.com/cambridgeuniversitycubansalsa/) a private event for post-docs to learn salsa at the Revolution bar on the top floor (Stoli) on Downing street!
There will be a beginner friendly Cuban salsa class followed by social dance. No need to bring a partner: we will rotate partners in a circle when learning and practicing the moves. Invite all your postdoc friends and similar professionals.
Arrive from 6.30 pm to say hello and meet others.
7 - 8 pm: salsa class
8-9.30 pm: social dance with Cuban salsa music and a mix of other Latin rhythms (bachata and merengue)
