Postdocs of Cambridge Society

Tuesday 26th July 2022, Darwin College, Bradfield Lawn

All postdocs from The University of Cambridge, Colleges and University Partner Institutions are invited to attend the 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the PdOC Society.

The aim of the AGM is to report on the activities of the Society for the past year and to elect a new Committee for the next year (in charge until June 2023). This year, it will also be a great opportunity to get together with fellow postdocs in a college environment. Join us to socialise, reflect on the past year, and plan for the year to come!

PdOC will welcome you at the Bradfield Lawn in Darwin College from 16:30. The schedule is as follows:

16:30 -17:30 Garden Party and networking

17:30 - 18:30 PdOC Annual General Meeting (Including elections)

18:30 - 19:30 Socialising with the new committee and each other

As for food and drink, PdOC will provide drinks for the garden party as well as some nibbles. However, as Darwin has allowed us to bring our own food, we thought we might make postdocs the stars of the show and host a summer potluck! Show off your cooking and baking by bringing it to the event. We’ll provide the tables, as well as all cutlery, napkins, and plates. You just need to bring the food.

Don’t worry, bringing or cooking food is not a requirement to attend (or eat!). But please tell us if you are bringing something so that we can plan accordingly.

For more info and to sign up, please visit: https://www.pdoc.cam.ac.uk/pdoc-2022-agm

An agenda about the meeting itself will be circulated closer to the date of the AGM.

Please show up to eat, drink, discuss, and elect your PdOC Society Committee. See you there!
