Join Us for the Annual Reclaim the Night March in Cambridge!
Are you ready to reclaim your space, your body, and stand against sexual violence? The Reclaim the Night march is back, and this year, we're calling on all postdocs to come together and participate in this empowering event!
- Date: 6th March, 6 pm
- Location: Cambridge (Starting point: Parker's Piece)
- Event Details: https://www.cambridgesu.co.uk/ents/event/1608/
Reclaim the Night is not just a march; it's a movement rooted in the struggles of sex workers, aimed at reclaiming autonomy and demanding an end to gendered and sexual violence. Join us as we walk the streets of Cambridge without fear, reclaiming our right to safety and freedom.
This march is open to women and individuals who identify with womanhood. Let's stand together in solidarity, raising our voices against injustice.
The evening before the march (Tuesday 5th March, 6.30 pm), we invite you to a pre-event gathering where we'll craft signs together. Bring your creativity and materials, and let's prepare to make a powerful statement! We've booked a meeting room at Mill Lane for this purpose, but feel free to bring additional supplies (Postdoc Centre, 16 Mill Lane, CB2 1SB).
Please sign up here for the sign making!
