PdOC Research Speed Dating

Join PdOC at Trinity College for the first PdOC Research Speed Dating event Meet other postdocs, form collaborations, practice you elevator pitches!!

Join us for an evening of scintillating conversation with fellow postdocs from the university. This is an opportunity to interact with researchers from across Cambridge and discuss your work in a speed dating format.

The event will give you a platform to practice your elevator pitches on a one on one basis which can be useful if you're applying for funding, looking for collaborators or just getting some practice to get your research across to a non-expert!

We will be meeting at the Trinity bar at 6pm before the event officially starts, to grab a drink and get the conversations started. Following which we will then heard to the Old Combination Room to have two rounds of interactive discussions where you will be paired with groups of postdocs with similar and different backgrounds.

 

We will also have a brief discussion about internal funding opportunities within the university and have time to exchange contact details with people you have chatted to!

We have 20 places available through PdOC and 20 places available for Trinity postdocs through the Trinity Postdoctoral Society.
