Our next PdOC Film Night will feature a selection of short films at the Postdoc Centre

Join us for the monthly gathering on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

We'll meet in the bar area of the Frank Lee Centre at 7pm (look for the PdOC sign!). It's free for members of the Frank Lee Centre and £1 entry for all those with a NHS and/or university card.

On 12th March we're planning a day trip to Bletchley Park, the home of British codebreaking. The former top-secret facility was recently made "even more famous" in the film The Imitation Game, which told the story of Alan Turing breaking the Enigma code.

As part of the Cambridge Science Festival - the thinking person's variety night with our special guests Ben van der Velde and headline act Nick Doody. They will be on stage alongside fellows and researchers giving stand-up comedy a go for the first time.

The Films of Andrei Tarkovsky - a Russian scholar travels to Italy to research the life of an exiled composer, and his conflicted longing for his homeland invades his dreams and desires.

Meet in the bar area at 8pm, the film starts at 8.30pm.

Guests and children are very welcome. If you have your own favourite board games, it would be great if you could bring them along. If not, that's ok too, there should be plenty of other games going that you can join. Bring your own drinks and snacks, or even something to share. Cost: FREE.
