Come to the Bath House for the PdOC monthly social on Sunday 31 January from 7pm onwards

Join us for the screening of this cult classic film at Christ's College (home to one of Cambridge's two long-established student cinemas). Based on the stage show by Richard O'Brien, it's a dazzling and timeless musical satire-cum-homage to sci-fi B-movies and kitsch horror, featuring Tim Curry as the Dr Frank N.

Due to illness the Journal club has been moved to Thursday Feb 4th

The PdOC Interdisciplinary Journal Club – a chance to discuss current topics in academia with postdocs outside your usual peer group.

We have booked a table at the Mitre pub, on Bridge Street, to celebrate Burns Night, the festival of the Scots poet Robert Burns. This happens on 25th January, and our table is booked for 7pm.

Our next PdOC Film Night will feature 'Affairs of Cappy Ricks' (1937) at the Postdoc Centre

Alice in Wonderland Exhibition

When: Saturday 9th January

Where: Meet at Cambridge Train Station

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the publication of the English classic, Alice in Wonderland. The British Library have put on a special exhibition of all things Alice, including the original manuscript.
