Postdocs of Cambridge Society

A SciScreen presents World Cancer Day screening, with an introductory talk: "What is leukaemia and what causes it?” from Professor Tony Green, Head of Cambridge University Department of Haematology.

This is followed by a screening of ‘Me and Earl and the dying girl’. Alfonso Gomez-Rejon’s second feature is a smart, witty tale built upon an unlikely premise. Rachel (Cooke) has leukaemia; Greg (Mann) is a sarky student obliged by his overbearing mother (Connie Britton) to befriend her; and the titular Earl (Cyler) is the pal with whom Greg shares a love of movies.

If you’d like to join, please use the picturehouse website to book seats near D6. We will meet in the bar area at around 5.45pm. Any problems, please contact Hannah (07976038600)
