The next PdOC Games Night will be held at 7pm on Monday 10 November

Join us on 8th November for a trip to the historic and vibrant city of Norwich - capital city of East Anglia, home of Alan Partridge and Delia Smith!

The Cambridge City Council is hosting its annual Guy Fawkes Night celebration on the Midsummer Commons.  There will be fireworks display at 7:30pm and immediately afterwards a large bonfire will be lit.  The Thurston Fun Fair will be open from 6 to 10pm.

Our next PdOC Film Night will feature Rene Clair’s ‘And Then There Were None’ (1945) at the Postdoc Centre.

Come to the Bath House for the PdOC monthly social *Halloween special* on Friday 31 October from 7pm onwards!

Are you new to Cambridge?

Looking for something to do this Friday evening?  Join your fellow postdocs to see Gone Girl.

We will meet at the Earl of Derby pub at 7pm for drinks before going to see the 8pm showing of Gone Girl at the Cineworld Cinema.

The Institute of Astronomy is open to the public every Wednesday evening 7 - 9pm throughout the winter.  An astronomer from the Institute will present a half-hour public talk, starting promptly at 7.15pm. This followed by an opportunity to look through the historical

On October 18th it is time for the fifth iteration of our post doc photo workshop.

A group of postdocs are getting together for the Cambridge Octoberfest.  We are meeting up at 7pm at the University Social Club where the Octoberfest is being held.

The beer festival will include Draught Munich Oktoberfest beers and around 35 British real ales.  Food available.
